The study assessed the effectiveness of the financial regulatory frameowrk in facilitating access to loans among youth entrepreneurs in Tanzania. The study was guided by three predictors namely rules, regulations and procedures. The predictors were tested towards access to loans as the dependent variable. Institutional theory was used to guide the study as the base of the variables under study were generated from it. This is due to the fact that the theory informs the variables under study particularly the predictors. The study employed explanatory design since knowledge was gathered using causal relationship testing; which iimplies testing of the relationship between predictors as the independent varibales to the dependent variable. The study employed secondary data in the information gathering process and to address the study gap that were obtained from the Bank of Tanzania (BOT) through documentary review method. The study covered the period of five (5) years (2019-2023). The collected facts were computed in Excel sheet and imported in E-view software to obtain statistics useful to present the results. Regression analysis specifically ordinal least square (OLS) model was used to describe the relationship between study variables. Findings indicated that all three predicting variables namely rules, regulations and procedures are positive with significant effect statistically towards access to loans (AL) as the dependent variable with p<0.05. The implication of the results is that access to loans among youth entrepreneurs in Tanzania through financial regulatory framework is positively influenced with rules, regulations and procedures.
